The Manor sits on the Bot River Lagoon in the UNESCO-designated Kogelberg Biosphere one of South Africa's most significant coastal habitats. The lagoon is shielded from the Atlantic by a sandbar; wild horses still roam the beach, while more than a hundred species of bird call the estate home.
Cape Town International Airport is roughly an hour away by car. The whale-watching town of Hermanus is ten minutes. Tasting rooms, restaurants and water activities are all on the estate.
