Leonardslee House sits within one of Sussex's great gardens, a grand country house that is also home to Restaurant Interlude holder of a MICHELIN Star and a MICHELIN Green Star and to ten MICHELIN Key bedrooms.
Now its Drawing Room opens for tastings of our own sparkling wine. An hour or two at the table, a few exceptional glasses, the story of the place, and the gardens beyond the window. Few estates in the country can offer all of this in one visit.
Estate-grown, Chardonnay-led, made by the traditional method with extensive lees ageing: our Brut Reserve, Blanc de Blancs and Brut Rosé, grown in the ancient Wealden soils of Sussex.

From a walk through the Leonardslee vines to a tutored tasting in the Drawing Room, discover the moments that shape the experience.
Flat, comfortable shoes, as the walk covers uneven vineyard and garden ground. The route is outdoors throughout, so please dress for the weather on the day and bring an umbrella just in case.
The tour runs outdoors in all weathers and there is no indoor alternative, so we ask guests to come prepared. If the weather catches you out on the day, do ask on arrival and we will do our best to help. As the walk always goes ahead, we are not able to offer refunds or discounts for wet weather.
No. The credit applies only to a case bought on the day of your visit, so please speak to your host during your tasting.
From Gardens to Glass crosses grass and uneven vineyard ground, so we are honest that it is not suitable for wheelchair users. Tale of the Swallow is seated in the Drawing Room throughout and is the better choice, with step-free access through the front door of the house. If you would like to combine a tasting with the parts of the gardens that are accessible, please get in touch and we will put something together for you.
Our tastings are for guests aged 18 and over, so we are unable to welcome under 18s. Children are very welcome in the gardens, and Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens has plenty for a family day out.
Dogs are very welcome throughout the gardens, but as our tastings are held in the Drawing Room where food is served, we are only able to admit assistance dogs. If you are visiting with a dog, we would suggest one of you enjoys the tasting while the other explores the gardens.
Park in the main gardens car park, where parking is charged separately unless you are a member. Show your booking confirmation at the entrance, which covers your admission for the day. The Drawing Room is at Leonardslee House, a short walk through the gardens, so please allow a few minutes to reach us.
