A seated tasting of three Leonardslee wines, told through the bird that flies between two hemispheres, and the family who named her.
Look closely at a bottle of Leonardslee wine and you'll find a swallow in flight. She migrates every year between Sussex and Africa, a route that echoes Penny Streeter OBE's own life and the flight lines beside her trace both her migration and the family's
story. Tale of the Swallow is a seated hour in The Drawing Room built around that story: three wines, poured and explained by a member of the Leonardslee team, in the room where the estate's wine experience began.

Your £45 ticket is redeemable in full against six bottles of Leonardslee sparkling wine bought on the day. One ticket per case.

FAQs
Admission to Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens is included with either tasting, so you are welcome to spend the rest of the day in the gardens.
From Gardens to Glass crosses grass and uneven vineyard ground, so we are honest that it is not suitable for wheelchair users. Tale of the Swallow is seated in the Drawing Room throughout and is the better choice, with step-free access through the front door of the house. If you would like to combine a tasting with the parts of the gardens that are accessible, please get in touch and we will put something together for you.
Our tastings are for guests aged 18 and over, so we are unable to welcome under 18s. Children are very welcome in the gardens, and Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens has plenty for a family day out.
Dogs are very welcome throughout the gardens, but as our tastings are held in the Drawing Room where food is served, we are only able to admit assistance dogs. If you are visiting with a dog, we would suggest one of you enjoys the tasting while the other explores the gardens.

or afternoon. Tale of the Swallow is a seated tasting in The Drawing Room at
1pm, built around the story behind our label.
