Leonardslee Gin

Distilled from our very own Leonardslee family Vineyard’s fruit, this truly unique gin achieves its complexity through two separate processes.

Traditional copper-pot distillation captures piney juniper, warming coriander, and earthy angelica, while low-temperature vacuum distillation delivers delicate floral top notes of rose, lavender, and chamomile.

The resulting spirit is elegant and fruity, with the base wine providing a comforting hint of apple. The dual citrus combination of bitter orange and lemon rounds and freshens it beautifully.

THE PROCESS

Crafted without compromise or shortcuts

  1. It Begins in the Garden

Everything starts with the estate itself the fruit from our own vines, the botanicals from our own grounds. Grade I listed gardens in West Sussex, and nothing brought in from elsewhere.

  2. A Base Worth Distilling

Where most spirits begin with grain, ours begin with wine. Estate-grown fruit is harvested and vinified at Leonardslee, giving both our gin and our vodka a softer, fruitier foundation than the category expects.

  3. Triple Distilled Vodka

Distilled three times, each pass stripping away more of what doesn't belong and leaving a cleaner, more precise spirit behind. The subtle fruitiness of the source wine survives all three.

  4. Rested with Botanicals Gin

Botanicals gathered from the gardens are steeped and distilled with the base spirit, drawing out their character slowly. Juniper leads, as it must, with the garden following close behind.

Estate-grown and cooled by the Antarctic current, Benguela Cove wines are built for food bright enough for the lagoon's seafood, structured enough for the coals.
